My name is Tenaya. I am a mother of 3 crazy awesome children. I married my high school sweetheart. Family and health are the most important things to me in the world. When we started having children, everything in the world scared me. I needed to know how fix and keep us healthy if anything were to ever happen to us or my kids. This desire to understand anything and everything I possibly could has taught me so much. I am an avid researcher. I've read hundreds of books on herbs, foods as medicine, nutrition, diets, auto-immune issues, minerals, ayurveda, healing energies and so much more.  I have found myself and what truly makes me happy through learning what nature has given us on this beautiful earth. I founded Lace Apothecary with one goal in mind, to get CLEAN healthy beauty products into the hands of everyone!  Living healthy should NOT cost you everything you have. To me that only deters people away from trying to understand the importance of living clean. My passion for nature has driven me from the beginning and continues to inspire me every day going forward. I know that every ingredient matters, and I strive to make your entire shopping experience as rewarding as possible. What you put on and inside your body DOES matter. This is why I have devoted my life to understanding, researching and creating quality products not only to benefit you but to also create awareness for what harmful chemicals can do to our health. My passion is nature, yes. But my #1 passion is helping others. There is nothing more rewarding to me than to help those in need of guidance when it comes to health. If I am able to help you with the knowledge I have obtained throughout my years of studying, then I have succeeded in life. YOU deserve to know and understand how to care for your body.
